Navum's Crest

Our Faith
Those whom choose to sail the stars depend heavily upon skill, strength and the motivation to succeed to ensure their safe return from voyages far and wide.
How will you indulge your deepest desires?

The Scent of fine spices and meats roasting over a well appointed grill, the tinkling song of ample coin dripping between your fingertips, a cautionary tale of self management...
All this and more is commonplace for those who pursue their goals under the Night Mother Avarice

Avarice, Goddess and Judge

The Night Mother guides us..
You find yourself in a room filled with darkness. Before you sits a pale, thin woman, appearing to your eyes to be simultaneously ancient, and youthful at the same time. She is dressed in a robe and hood of the finest black silks, and around her flows an everlasting flow of sanguine red liquid. She sits a burnished throne of bronze, with a large horned crow perched at her shoulder, in her left hand is a large amount of golden coins, covered in blood, and in her right is a noose, limp but lethal.
She turns her head farther into the single point of light illuminating her, and you can see streaks of red tears flowing down her gentle face. She is simultaneously terrifying and beautiful, cold as the winter gale and sharper than the finest obsidian.
Sister to the Horned Crow, the Night Mother manages the balance of greed in the hearts of all. At times she is fierce to those that follow her, other times she is generous. She is neither malevolent nor benevolent choosing instead to judge only on the merits of how you maintain the balance.
She teaches that greed in and of itself is natural, and that to truly develop as individuals you should follow your desires closely, so long as they do not intentionally cause drastic harm to others.
This, is the Night Mother Avarice, and she calls to you now to claim your due and maintain the balance.
